First off, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone

In other news, I seem to have neglected updating my journal for, what, ten months now?

A lot has happened since then. I got fours and fives on the AP tests I was freaking out about, (and some "quality" art was birthed by the study process).

Summer came and went. With it came great memories with my friends and amazing times with my family as we visited Italy and Romania. As it came to a close, anxiety about the impending first semester of college reached a peak, plateaued, slowly came down during the flurry of transition skits and talks that was Welcome Week.

I am now balls deep in my first semester, and I gotta tell you, I can get used to this. Living away from home is a fun and interesting experience. I've met lots of cool people and kept in touch with fellow high schoolers.

Come to think of it, Finals Week is just around the corner. Life is racing by once again.

That's it for now. I should probably be make myself useful and help my family prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. I hope everyone has a lovely day and a better life.
